completion of first phase interior project T&R - Valencia May 2026

We are currently renovating a villa and its entire surroundings in the quiet village of Alginet, just west of Valencia.

The project is divided into three interior phases (ground floor, first and second floor) and four exterior phases: the façade, the terraces, the pool area and the gym.

The first interior phase — the ground floor — is now complete, while work continues on the other levels and outdoor spaces.

We wanted to honour the typical arches so characteristic of Mediterranean architecture, and bring them into different parts of the interior. The overall feeling is soft and wabi-sabi inspired: natural materials, gentle colours and tactile fabrics.

An exciting project that is only just beginning — we can't wait to reveal the next chapters of this beautiful home.

completion interior project J&B - Ostend April 2026

After designing both the interior and exterior of their home in Antwerp, Jurgen and Benoit returned to us with a new chapter: a coastal apartment in Ostend — the Queen of Seaside Towns — with breathtaking views over the North Sea.

They first asked us to look at the floor plan. We reworked the layout so the generous windows and ever-changing sea views would take centre stage in the living areas. For the atmosphere we drew inspiration from the soft greyish hue the North Sea so often wears. Every colour in the palette — greens, beiges, off-whites, browns — carries a subtle touch of that grey. Natural materials were selected to feel as though they had drifted ashore, like the light greyish oak. Brass accents and soft, rounded forms bring a quiet chic and timeless elegance to the space. And after a long, windy walk along the beach, the fireplace is there to welcome them home.

A true dream getaway, every season of the year.

the final detail

Every project ends with a personal thank-you. Not just for the trust my clients place in me, but to mark the successful completion of their home. I search for a gift that quietly reflects who they are, the interior we designed, and the atmosphere we shaped together — even the wrapping is chosen with care.

After designing the interior of their Lakeview residence, Katie and Yves returned with a new wish: a terrace that would feel like a private green haven high above Antwerp.

We focused on plants that thrive in wind and full sun, and designed custom planters with gently rounded edges to soften the space and create a natural flow. The planters echo the colour of the window frames for continuity, while a hidden drainage system keeps everything neat and dry.

The result is a Mediterranean-inspired terrace that brings a constant holiday feeling – and requires only minimal care.

completion of interior project C&A - Hemiksem July 2024

Just after we finished the interior of their previous home in Hemiksem, Chris and Anneke heard that the penthouse they had always dreamed of was back on the market. They didn't think twice. They asked us to approach the estate agent, support them through the purchase, and design every detail of the interior.

Generous windows bring in light from every direction. We balanced the clean architecture with soft decorative paint, custom furniture in warm American walnut and tactile fabrics. A large family sofa, open on three sides, becomes the heart of the living space — perfect for gathering around the fireplace while looking out over the nature reserve and the curve of the Scheldt.

Natural oak floors, seamless floor-to-ceiling doors, a welcoming guest room for their son's family, ample custom storage, two quiet offices, a dining table made for long evenings, and a kitchen where every appliance disappears from view… everything was carefully considered.

Their dream penthouse is now a reality. We couldn't be prouder.

During the interior design of Chris and Anneke's penthouse, the conversation naturally expanded to their outdoor spaces: a generous terrace with panoramic views over the Scheldt and the nature reserve, and a more sheltered enclosed terrace.

For the large terrace we designed distinct areas to relax, take in the view, host friends, and enjoy long dinners at the table.
The enclosed terrace became a soft, protected corner – perfect for reading, resting, or catching the sun when the wind picks up.

We carried the natural colour scheme and tactile materials from the interior outside, letting them gently contrast with the concrete structure of the building. Wind- and sun-resistant plants were chosen, and the owners' existing plants were thoughtfully integrated.

The result is a calm, Mediterranean-inspired terrace that feels like a seamless continuation of the home – easy to live in and even easier to maintain.

Jurgen & Benoit were among our very first clients. After completing their interior, they began working with a well-known exterior studio for their two generous terraces. The designs that came back simply didn't feel right — they didn't match the atmosphere of the home we had created together.

So they asked us to step in. From the first conversation it was clear how the terraces could become a true extension of the interior. Only minor adjustments were needed to land on a design that felt completely natural.

We carried the microcement from inside to the outdoor bench and large planters. Soft cushions in different sizes and shapes — chosen in the same colour scheme as the flowers on the terrace and perfectly matching the interior — bring a playful yet elegant touch. In the more shaded corner a Galaxy tree (pompom tree) creates a quiet, gallery-like moment — especially magical in the evening when the garden lights turn it into a living sculpture. A long bench, gently placed between two planters, offers plenty of seating for guests yet keeps the terrace open. It also makes a wonderful place to stretch out in the sun.

On the other side, a custom barbecue area with a floating Green Egg, carefully designed lighting and herb planters next to the escape door invites long summer evenings. Privacy on the second terrace is created through a thoughtful composition of planters in different heights and sizes. Soft garden lighting blurs the line between inside and outside, making the terraces feel like extra living rooms under the open sky.

a personal designed and handmade Christmas wreath

When one of our projects was confirmed just before the holidays, I wanted to thank the client in a personal way. I made them a Christmas wreath with a clean, elegant design that reflected the quiet luxury of both their interior and exterior.

Jurgen and Benoit had found a beautifully located apartment in a luxury project in Antwerp, overlooking a lake and with generous terraces on both sides. Our first meetings took place during the Covid lockdown, almost entirely online. Even so, it was immediately clear what they wanted: a modern, architectural interior without tile or wooden floors, a bathroom with a freestanding bath and switchable glass walls for privacy, a large shower, a flexible office that could double as a guest room, and an electric fireplace that would feel as authentic as a real one.

We responded with microcement floors, sleek black satin custom-made furniture and the warmth of American walnut. Soft textiles were introduced through the sofa, rugs and curtains, while the walnut returned in the freestanding furniture to create a quiet, consistent language throughout the apartment.

The finished home feels calm, elegant and architectural — a precise reflection of the atmosphere we had imagined together with Jurgen and Benoit from the very beginning.

completion interior project A&N - Antwerp

When I first met Albert and Nadia, it was clear that the kitchen would be the heart of their home. Albert loves to cook and had precise ideas about the appliances and the atmosphere. Above all, they wanted a single dining table placed so that every family dinner could be enjoyed with a view through the large double corner window.

The solution became a table that is physically linked to the island, yet feels light and independent — with generous seating for guests. Because they didn't want a white kitchen, we composed a warm and refined palette: deep chocolate wood, soft beige tones, Emperador marble and delicate gold accents.

Their own design furniture and the elegant herringbone floor complete the picture, adding to the quiet luxury of the apartment.

a little Spanish gesture

At the end of one of our projects, I looked for a thank-you gift that felt fun and true to the clients' way of living. They love hosting friends and often open their home for gatherings. So I brought in a Spanish touch — a selection of local stoneware that matched both their warm hospitality and the spirit of the interior we created together.

From the very first meeting it was obvious: Katie and Yves love gathering their large circle of friends and hosting long, lively evenings at home. Clean architecture, a generous kitchen, a bathroom with a double shower, the colour black, warm wood, and of course a good glass of wine — their wishes were crystal clear. I already had a strong vision forming… until, just as we were saying goodbye, Yves casually mentioned his extensive collection of white and red wines that needed a proper place in the kitchen.

That detail stayed with me. Later that night I got out of bed and started drawing. Not just the wine storage, but a completely reimagined apartment. At our second meeting, when I presented the design, they were speechless — and completely over the moon. Katie was so proud she immediately showed it to her colleagues, who responded with: "Can we please come live with you?"

We have kept a warm connection ever since, and years later we were invited to continue the story with their terrace — the "green heaven in the sky".

Chris and Anneke were a little cautious when we first met. A previous design experience had left them hesitant. Yet we connected right away, and it was immediately clear what they wanted: a light, clean home softened by the warmth of an oak floor.

With Chris working long hours as a doctor, time for meetings was scarce. We therefore kept the process efficient and focused, making every appointment count.

I reworked the floor plan and sketched a custom kitchen and bathroom that matched their vision perfectly. Encouraged by the result, they asked me to design the whole apartment. We chose the materials together and refined every detail. They were delighted with the outcome and entrusted us with the complete execution. On the day they finally received the keys, there was an even greater surprise waiting for all of us… (you can discover that chapter in the later penthouse project in Hemiksem).

hands in the soil

I love putting my hands in the earth and helping to plant the trees, flowers and shrubs. Being present during this stage allows me to choose the best spot for each plant, carefully check the condition of everything that goes into the ground, and make sure the plants receive the right nutrients for a healthy and strong start. If something doesn't look right, I can respond immediately and find the best solution — so the project begins well-executed from day one.

I don't mind a bit of dirt under my fingernails. What matters to me is knowing the plants are strong and the result is exactly as it should be.

Jacques and Dominique left behind their charming suburban villa for a penthouse with sweeping lake views in Antwerp. Art has always been central to their lives, and their collection needed a true place within the new interior. Coming from the wood trade, Jacques also wanted the warmth and beauty of natural wood to be felt throughout the home.

The kitchen became the heart of the design: deep chocolate wood paired with a sleek, marble-like composite stone. An elongated island serves both as a practical centrepiece and as a quiet stage for some of their sculptures. From the entrance hall, a clear sightline draws the eye through the space, while a natural passage leads towards the master office. Art is thoughtfully placed in every transition, so that moving through the apartment feels like walking through a calm, personal gallery.

The result is a serene home where architecture, material and art exist in quiet balance.
